Amount: $500 per academic year

This scholarship is given to a student in Stefan Brown's name. Stefan, Class of 2001, passed away suddenly in 2008. His friends and family have built this fund to honor his name and his memory.

The scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman in need, who has a strong work ethic, an interest in music, is a good citizen, and believes in community service and outreach. There will only be one award recipient in high school at Bishop Dunne at any given time. The scholarship is renewable each year if an acceptable GPA and clean discipline record is maintained.

Amount: $2,000 per academic year

This scholarship will be awarded to an incoming minority freshman in need, who has a strong work ethic, plans for the future, and believes in the importance of physical education, athletics, social justice, and community service.

There will only be one award recipient in high school at Bishop Dunne at any given time. The scholarship is renewable each year if an acceptable GPA and clean discipline record is maintained. This award will not be granted for the 2021-2022 school year.

Amount: multiple awards ranging from $500 to $8,000

These scholarships will be awarded to incoming freshmen who demonstrate strong academic promise, a commitment to community service and social justice, are considered a leader among their peers, and pursue excellence in all areas.

The Bishop Dunne Admissions Office will identify outstanding candidates for the Presidential Scholarship from the entire admissions applicant pool that has applied by February 12, 2021.

Candidates selected by Admissions for consideration will be invited to submit a Presidential Scholarship supplemental application. All selected candidates will be invited to a Zoom interview in early March.
