Receptionist
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking an energetic, organized, (bilingual preferred - English and Spanish) receptionist. Are you ready to have a great work schedule with a generous paid holiday schedule? Come join a team of dedicated staff and faculty serving a dynamic group of middle and high school students in a faith-based environment. As the first point of contact, the receptionist must be highly organized and have strong customer service and communication skills. The position will begin as soon as possible.
General Duties: The Receptionist fulfills the mission of Bishop Dunne Catholic School by assisting with general office work and serving the needs of students and families. The Receptionist has decision-making responsibilities within the scope of the job and in keeping with school policies is to maintain an efficient, friendly, clean, professional and pleasant environment for the public and our clientele, both through the Front Office and over the phone. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma required. 2-3 years of receptionist experience. School experience is preferred.

Technology Manager
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a Technology Manager.
Bishop Dunne Catholic School empowers each student to explore, inquire, lead, and serve through a college preparatory education in a joyful community of faith.
Bishop Dunne is the only Catholic diocesan school that enrolls students in grades six through twelve. The Seven-Year Advantage allows us to support students and their families over a longer period of time, so they are well prepared for college. The Bishop Dunne student body mirrors the diversity of Dallas, with over 75% identifying as students of color, and approximately half the students are Catholic. We are seeking a technology professional to support our faculty and staff and help our students achieve their goals.
General Duties: Provide network and telecommunications services to the school community as well as coordinate the use of network resources to the fullest extent possible; to assist with the operation, provisioning, management and maintenance of all electronic equipment; to help with designing and organizing the Technology Strategic Plan; and to help organize and maintain effective security and a safe environment.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, or Business (or a related field) preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a technical role in Network infrastructure, Telecom and Information Services is required. Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role in Information Services is required.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Ability to evaluate software applications and determine they fit into Technology Strategy
- Cisco/Meraki and Microsoft certifications a plus, or equivalent practical application.
- Ability to manage an Office365 environment
- Microsoft Windows for PC and Server applications.
- Apple MacOS support.
- Adobe Creative Suite software and user management.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, Microsoft Azure/AD hybrid server platforms, Cloud Computing, and other technical aspects specific to school needs

- Ability to maintain and conduct fault analysis of inside wiring and legacy POTS. (Plain Old Telephone Services)

Specific Duties:
Strategy & Planning
- Formulate and deploy long-term strategic plans for acquiring and enabling efficient and cost-effective information processing and communication technologies
- Manage the IT department operational and strategic planning, including school requirements, project planning, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
- Analyze business requirements of all school departments to determine their technology needs
- Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of technology strategy to meet various school departments’ needs
Operational Management
- Evaluate the re-engineering of applications support to ensure it aligns with school processes, tactical planning, and strategic vision
- Develop and review budgets for the IT department and help to ensure they comply with stated goals, guidelines, and objectives
- Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, productivity levels, and upgrade requirements
- Help to benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement of the IT infrastructure and IT systems
- Provide bid requirements for all hardware and software upgrades, review submitted bids for compliance with stated requirements, and make recommendations for the appropriate award
- Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, and support of all hardware and software based on department needs
- Assist with research on potential technology solutions and implementations in support of new initiatives, opportunities, and procurement efforts
- Assist with the provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services for faculty, staff and students
- Assist in the development and implementation of all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision
- Oversee negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements
- Oversee installation and support of telecommunications services
- Ensure disaster recovery and monitoring of backup services
Day to Day
- Assist in the troubleshooting of faculty, staff and student machines when necessary along with other technical issues that may be encountered
- Assess and resolve network login and email problems that may be encountered.

Development Officer
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is conducting a search for a Development Officer. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and cultivate relationships, demonstrate strong closing skills, and maintain a high degree of personal initiative.
General Duties: The Development Officer supports the Director of Development and Alumni Relations in fundraising efforts, grant writing, event planning, and the solicitation of individual donors, alumni, and business partners.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years minimum in non-profit fundraising or comparable sales management experience serving high capacity donors/clients. Must be donor/client-centric. CFRE certification preferred.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience in building a portfolio of major donors and networkers through existing donors and contacts in the community
- Proficient in moves management best practices to more deeply engage donors and grow giving
- Competent in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form, and effective presentation skills to speak at gatherings in casting vision and inviting support
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in the school community.
- Ability to serve as a professional ambassador and representative of the school.
- Experience and skill managing multiple deadlines and a complex calendar of assignments.
- An independent and proactive fundraiser, with the ability to work seamlessly as a member of the Development team.

Specific Duties:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Independently manages portfolio of 150 donors/prospects and schedules 10 in-person appointments weekly to cultivate the portfolio and raise funds, per annual goals
- Logs contacts and moves management progress in CRM
- Event planning: Assists in planning, invites participants, attends, and follows up after events/gatherings to maximize impact and donor engagement
- Creates opportunities to speak at external gatherings to broaden Bishop Dunne’s reach and gain new partners
- Assists in building and executing cycles of engagement for donors to enhance communications and deepen donor engagement
- Engages partners in strategic activities/events to broaden reach and deepen engagement
- Develops new contacts in the community through referrals and networking
- Invites individuals in portfolio to invest not only gifts, but time and talent to further deepen relationships
- Works closely with the Director of Development & Alumni Relations to support initiatives and help create resources as needed
- Writes proposals for foundations and major donors
- Articulates the mission of Bishop Dunne to all constituents including students, parents, alumni, local businesses, donors, and foundations
- Contributes to team planning of strategic initiatives

2022 - 2023 Assistant High School Wrestling Coach - (Part-time)
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking an Assistant High School Wrestling Coach. The part-time, stipend paid position will be for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2-3 years coaching experience at an Assistant level;
- Experience wrestling at the high school level or above preferred:
- Teaching certificate a plus, but not required.
- Complete National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching Course;
- Complete annual NFHS Concussions in Sports Course;
- Possess a superior knowledge of the sport of wrestling including, but not limited to, knowledge of training and conditioning techniques and the ability to diagnose player deficiencies and prescribe corrective activities;
Successful Assistant High School Wrestling Coach Candidates will:

- Maintain annual TAPPS S.C.O.P.E. training;
- Maintain current First Aid/CPR certification, as well as Safe Environment Training.

2022 - 2023 Part -time Substitute Bus Driver
Are you a CDL licensed bus driver looking for an opportunity to supplement your income while directly impacting the success of students at Bishop Dunne Catholic School? Our Bus Drivers play an important role as they transport our students to and from campus, extra-curricular evening and weekend events. Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a part-time Substitute Bus Driver to work extra trips and routes, as needed, during the 2022-2023 school year. This position is ideal for a person seeking a flexible schedule and able to commit to evening and weekend hours.
General Duties: Ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated location.
Experience and Education Required:
• High School Diploma
• Valid Texas commercial driver’s license (Class B) with P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements
• Minimum of 3-5 years bus driving experience preferred
Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age
• Satisfactory driving record
• Willing to complete requirements for the following, if not previously satisfied
o Satisfactory results of a controlled substance test and criminal history check
o Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical
o Satisfactory completion of a bus driver safety course
