Part-time Substitute Bus Driver
Are you a CDL licensed bus driver looking for an opportunity to supplement your income while directly impacting the success of students at Bishop Dunne Catholic School? Our Bus Drivers play an important role as they transport our students to and from campus, extra-curricular evening, and weekend events. Tell us what your availability is to serve in this transportation role. We are interested in speaking with you.
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a part-time Substitute Bus Driver to work extra trips and routes, as needed, during the 2024-2025 school year. This position is ideal for a person seeking a flexible schedule and able to commit to evening and weekend hours.
General Duties: Ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated location.
Experience and Education Required:
• High School Diploma
• Valid Texas commercial driver’s license (Class B) with P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements
• Minimum of 3-5 years bus driving experience preferred
Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age
• Satisfactory driving record
• Willing to complete requirements for the following, if not previously satisfied
• Satisfactory results of a controlled substance test and criminal history check
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical
• Satisfactory completion of a bus driver safety course
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to manage student behavior
• Ability to operate the bus
Pay Rate: $20 per hour.

2024 - 2025 Part-time Assistant High School Golf Coach
Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking a part-time Assistant High School Golf Coach (Boys & Girls) for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

Candidates must have availability Monday – Friday after 3:30 pm and occasional weekends during golf season.
Education/Experience Requirements:
· Have a minimum of 2-3 years coaching experience at an Assistant level
· Experience playing golf at the high school level or above preferred
· Teaching certificate a plus, but not required
· Complete National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching Course
· Complete annual NFHS Concussions in Sports Course
· Possess a superior knowledge of golf including, but not limited to, knowledge of training and conditioning techniques and the ability to diagnose player deficiencies and prescribe corrective activities
· Having a CDL is a plus, but not required

· Attend Athletic Department Coaches Training
· Maintain annual TAPPS S.C.O.P.E. training
· Maintain current First Aid/CPR certification, as well as Safe Environment Training

2024 - 2025 Part-time Head High School Wrestling Coach
Head High School Wrestling Coach
We seek to hire a part-time high school wrestling coach who will advance the mission of the school, mentor and help develop student-athletes as wrestling players and women and men, and be a positive participant in the school culture, including advancing the Catholic identity of the school, and develop positive relationships with school colleagues and administration.

Necessary Outcomes:
· Wrestling players graduate from Bishop Dunne Catholic School
· Middle School wrestling players matriculate in the Bishop Dunne High School
· Head Coach is responsible for all programs - this includes assisting with JV and MS teams when needed
· Wrestling players develop skills to allow them the opportunity to continue to play at the collegiate level, if desired and appropriate
· Wrestling team works toward the goal to be competitive against TAPPS district competition
· Wrestling coach promotes the Catholic identity of Bishop Dunne by actively participating in mass and other religious activities
· Wrestling coach plays an active role in the school outside of wrestling as teacher, administrator, or staff member
· Wrestling coach will participate in admissions activities to support the enrollment efforts
· Wrestling coach will build wrestling staff who embrace the mission of the school and promote the values of Bishop Dunne
· Wrestling coach will work collaboratively with athletic administrators and business office to build a budget that is reasonable, and stay within that budget each year
· Wrestling coach will show appreciation for athletic support groups such as marching band, cheerleaders and drill team and show respect for the students and leaders of those groups
· Wrestling coach will embrace the history of Bishop Dunne and reach out to wrestling alumni and alumni parents
