Our Campus

Bishop Dunne Catholic School sits on a 22‑acre campus in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, giving students plenty of room to learn, pray, and play in one connected setting. The layout is compact enough to feel like a close‑knit community, yet spacious enough to support strong academics, athletics, and student life.

Academic and student spaces

Classrooms are organized along several main hallways (100, 200, 300, and 400 halls), which makes it easy for middle and high school students to move between classes during the day. These halls connect to key spaces such as the library and St. Mary’s building, which houses business, guidance, and counseling offices that support students’ academic and personal growth.

Chapel and courtyards

At the heart of campus is the chapel, a daily reminder that Bishop Dunne is first and foremost a Catholic community where students gather for prayer, Mass, and reflection. Three interior courtyards—including the Vincent Langbein Memorial Garden and the Father Tim Gollob Garden Sanctuary—provide quiet outdoor spaces that are xeriscaped for low water use and used for science lessons, reflection, and informal gatherings.

Arts, dining, and gathering areas

The campus includes an auditorium and band hall that host performances, concerts, and events, giving students a place to share their gifts in the arts. A central cafeteria serves as a hub during lunch, where students from grades 6–12 mix, build friendships, and experience the family‑style atmosphere Bishop Dunne is known for.

Athletic facilities

Bishop Dunne’s athletics facilities sit directly on campus, so students can transition easily from classes to practice or games. The grounds include Falcon Stadium for football, soccer, and track and field, the Steve Macko Baseball Field, a softball field, a renovated gymnasium, and an adjoining field house with weight room, dance/practice space, and locker rooms.

Getting to campus

The school’s address is 3900 Rugged Drive, Dallas, Texas 75224, just off Loop 12 and Highway 67, making it accessible from across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Families arrive through the main school entrance, where the front desk and administrative offices welcome visitors and help direct them to tours, meetings, and events.
