Bishop Dunne’s high school program is designed so students meet and exceed Texas graduation requirements while being formed as thoughtful, faith‑filled leaders. Coursework is challenging, but students are surrounded by teachers and counselors who want them to succeed.​

Graduation requirements total 28.5 credits and typically include:​

• 4 credits each in English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Theology.

• 3 credits in World Language.

• 2 credits in Fine Arts/Humanities.

• Credits in Physical Education, Technology, Health, and Speech.​

Weekly community service further shapes students into young adults who serve others and live their faith.​

For students ready to go further, Bishop Dunne offers multiple advanced pathways. High school students can earn college credit and even an Associate Degree while staying fully engaged in the Bishop Dunne community.​

• Pre‑AP and AP offerings across core subjects for students seeking additional challenge.​

• Dual credit courses through Dallas College, with most classes taught on campus by Bishop Dunne’s accredited faculty at no cost to the student.​

• The Collegiate Institute, where qualified students satisfy high school graduation requirements while earning an Associate of Science degree from Dallas College.​

Students not in the Collegiate Institute can still earn college credit through dual credit courses by maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA and meeting TSIA2 testing benchmarks in English and Math.

Because dual credit is offered through Dallas College, a Texas Success Initiative (TSIA2) score is required to earn college credit for English, Social Studies, and Math classes. Passing the TSIA2 English portion before sophomore year and the Math portion before enrolling in Pre‑Calculus helps students stay on track with their college credit goals.​
