How to Apply

Students are encouraged to apply online. It is the fastest and easiest way to complete the process, and to track missing information.

Application Fee: The fee for an online application is $100. You will see your payment options once you have completed the online application.

When you apply online, you will be directed to complete the following steps:

• Complete the preliminary application
• Respond to the Student Questionnaire and Short Answer form online

• Request online recommendation form from one current core subject teacher (English, math, social studies, or science).

• Request online recommendation form from one character reference

• Schedule an interview

The Records Release Form is available through the online checklist once you complete the initial online admissions application.

Please print and deliver this form to your current school. Your school will send the appropriate grade records--transcripts, attendance/discipline records, report cards, and/or birth certificate--directly to Bishop Dunne.

Please note: Records from the previous two school years and the first semester of the current grade are required.

If you have already taken a PTE, SAT, ACT, IELTS, or TOEFL, you are not required to sit for the ISEE. Please forward all test results to the Office of Admission.

Otherwise, you will need to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) at a Prometric Test Center. For more information on the test, and all available dates, visit ISEE online, or Bishop Dunne Admission.

When registering for the test, use Bishop Dunne’s ISEE school code: 441785.

Please sign up for the test at least 30 days prior to the test date.

The International Student Request form is your I-20 application.

Submit the completed form and all required documents to Bishop Dunne Admission.

The United States will issue student visas only to students who can prove that they have adequate means of financial support. View the requirements here.

Contact the Office of Admission to schedule your video interview with a member of the Admissions Committee.

Once the I-20 is approved by the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, all applicants for student visas must interview with a consular official before any visas are issued. Please contact your country's U.S. embassy or consulate to make an appointment.

If you are admitted to Bishop Dunne Catholic School, you will receive additional information describing how to register at the school. All international students must register within three weeks of their acceptance date.
