Falconettes Win Best in Class The Falconette dance dream team competed in the American Dance/Drill Team School DFW Classic Dance Championship this past Saturday at Duncanville High School. Softball Wins Molina Tournament This past weekend the varsity softball team competed in the annual Molina Tournament in Dallas. Junior pitcher, Allison Cyr, and sophomore catcher, Calli Lynch, were the core of the tournament. Click here to read more.
High Winter Sports Athletic Banquet The high school winter sports athletic banquet will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 6:00 p.m. Winter sports include: girls' basketball, boys' basketball, swim, wrestling, boys' soccer, and girls' soccer. Admission will be $8 for adults and $4 for children. Student athletes receive complimentary admission. There have been multiple explosions in the Bachman Lake community over the past few days due to a gas leak. An 11-year-old girl was killed, many were injured, and now thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes and apartments. Click here to read more. Falconette Dance Team Auditions There will be a tryout workshop April 3 through 5, 2018, from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., in the multi-purpose room. Auditions will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., in the gym.
Falconette Informational Meeting for Upcoming Tryouts There will be a mandatory informational meeting for all dancers and parents interested in the upcoming Falconette tryouts. The meeting will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the multi-purpose room.
Calling All Students Interested in Law On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Bishop Dunne will be hosting its first segment of the Alumni Career Panel Series, a series of career-specific panels led by Bishop Dunne graduates, from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the library. Students who are interested in pursuing a career in law are invited to hear from alumni Jessica Lynn Sepulveda '02 and Patrick Kirlin '76 as they share their academic and professional experiences. Students are required to RSVP here and turn in this completed permission slip form to director of alumni relations, Liz Hernandez, no later than Monday, March 5, 2018.

As a college preparatory school, Bishop Dunne offers Advanced Placement and dual credit college classes. We have set a goal of doubling the number of credits earned by our students within two years by explaining our offerings and creating new ways for students to have access to these programs. There will be two identical meetings for parents interested in their student taking dual credit courses next year. Students are welcome as well. Meetings will take place Thursday, February 22, or Thursday, March 8, from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Attendance to one of these meetings is mandatory in order to participate in dual credit next year. If anyone is unable to attend one of these meetings, please contact Mrs. Kirchhoff at akirchhoff@bdcs.org to set up a time to discuss dual credit and the several opportunities available for your child.
