IN THE SPOTLIGHT David Hogg II, reports baseball successes David Hogg II was recently selected to play on the MLB/USA Breakthrough Series national baseball team. The team will compete at the WWBA Perfect Game World Championship in West Palm Beach, Fla., in October. The team consists of some of the top baseball prospects in the country as selected by the MLB/USA Amateur Scouting Bureau.
David was also invited to the prestigious Hank Aaron Invitational Showcase this past July at the famous Historic Dodgertown spring training complex in Vero Beach, Fla., where he had a photograph taken with MLB Hall of Fame member, Ken Griffey, Jr. (shown left). Part-time nurse needed Bishop Dunne is looking to hire a part-time nurse as part of our team. If you are a nurse, or if you know a nurse who might be interested in joining our team on a part-time basis, please let us know.
Hours of operation: Part-time - three days a week; 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on school days. Some additional professional development days required.
Job requirements: The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the demands of nursing in a school setting.

2019 College Fair
This year, representatives from 100 colleges and universities will be attending the fair. All Bishop Dunne 6th through 12th graders will have an opportunity to attend the fair and visit with representatives. Parents are welcome to attend.

This is a great opportunity for our Bishop Dunne students to learn and hear directly from the representatives who oftentimes will be reading their applications and making decisions on who is admitted.

St. Vincent de Paul Donation Box Bishop Dunne has a donation box on campus. It is located in the south parking lot by the recycling bins. The box accepts only gently used clothing and shoes items. If you have other items that you wish to donate, please schedule a donation pick up online. Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization made up of Catholic lay men and women, whose primary mission is to seek the face of Christ in the poor.
