Parent help needed on Olympic Day - Oct. 3 Olympic Day is an annual event during homecoming week that our students look forward to each year. It is a time when our students and faculty break away from routine for a few hours and compete against each other in friendly games. The class that earns the most point is crowned the winner of Olympic Day.
Olympic Day will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 and is sponsored by the Bishop Dunne Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As in past years, we need your help and are asking the different grade levels to donate Pepsi product. Please consider donating the following:

Calling all Alumni! The Alumni Tailgate will be held on Friday, October 4, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Orender Family Athletic Complex, followed by the Homecoming Game against the St. Pius X Panthers. Grandparents' Day is Oct. 23 Please extend an invitation to your grandparents to join the Bishop Dunne family at our annual celebration on Oct. 23.
Mass will be held in the gym at 1:30 followed by a reception. Students may show grandparents around our school as well.

Dads' Club Poker Night a success! The Bishop Dunne Dads' Club hosted their Poker Night Tournament and Fundraiser at Las Ranitas Restaurant. Not only was the tournament great fun, it raised close to $1000 for the Dads' Club.

SCAD to Visit Bishop Dunne The Savannah College of Art and Design will visit Bishop Dunne on Thursday Oct. 17, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., in room 404.
Part-time nurse needed Bishop Dunne is looking to hire a part-time nurse as part of our team. If you are a nurse, or if you know a nurse who might be interested in joining our team on a part-time basis, please let us know.
Hours of operation: Part-time - three days a week; 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on school days. Some additional professional development days required.
Job requirements: The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the demands of nursing in a school setting.

Basketball skills development for girls and boys Basketball skills development happens every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. The class is led by Bishop Dunne Girls varsity head coach, Von McDade, a former NBA second round pick of the New Jersey Nets.

St. Vincent de Paul Donation Box Bishop Dunne has a donation box on campus. It is located in the south parking lot by the recycling bins. The box accepts only gently used clothing and shoes items. If you have other items that you wish to donate, please schedule a donation pick up online. Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization made up of Catholic lay men and women, whose primary mission is to seek the face of Christ in the poor.
