Latinos Unidos sponsors celebration of the mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Please join us for the celebration of the mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12 at 1:30 p.m. in the gym. Latinos Unidos is sponsoring this mass where we will have mariachis and a reception afterwards in the cafeteria. The mariachis will join us in the cafeteria for traditional food and drink while we sing traditional songs of advent. If you want to participate by volunteering or bringing donations or food, please click here. Also, check track it forward to volunteer! This is a great opportunity to build community and honor Our Lady.

Dunne for a Change
The National Honor Society will donate all money to local and national charities. They also hope to purchase two wheel chairs to Joni's House. We will collect on-line donations until Friday, December 13. Any amount will help NHS meet its goals!
Financial Aid meeting - Tuesday, Dec. 17 It's time to start the financial aid process! If you would like to be considered for need-based tuition assistance at Bishop Dunne, you must apply every year in a timely fashion. You may not receive aid if you don't apply on time. It's not too late to enter the Alaskan cruise raffle! Raffle tickets for the Alaskan cruise are available through Friday, Jan. 31,. 2020. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100. Drawing will be held during Catholic Schools Week - Friday, Jan. 31 and will be live-streamed on Facebook. All rooms are ocean view cabins! Important Business Office Updates - Tuition and Fees
Christmas Toy Drive Bishop Dunne Student Council is seeking any brand-new unopened and unwrapped toys to be placed in the front office under the Christmas tree by December 18, 2019. The toys will be donated to multiple charities within our community. Please, no sharp objects, toy guns, or stuffed animals for health issues.

Why a baseball fundraiser? Mike Bacsik is generously donating his time and efforts to help create a robust baseball program at Bishop Dunne, which will include a Middle School feeder program. The baseball fundraiser is open to any and all who are interested in creating such a program, and to help upgrade our facilities and grounds. We welcome all!
About Mike Bacsik Mike Bacsik attended Duncanville High School and was drafted out of high school by the Cleveland Indians. He went on to play five years in major league baseball for the Indians, Mets, Rangers and Nationals. In 2004 Mike became the first son of a Texas Ranger to play for the Rangers.
Mike currently works as a pre- and post-game analyst on Fox Sports Southwest for the Rangers, and is a sports talk radio host on 105.3 The Fan. Mike and Sue Bacsik have three children, sons Jake and Cal and daughter, Mary Grace, who is a freshman at Bishop Dunne. Mike's parents Linda Lynch Bacsik and Mike Bacsik both attended Bishop Dunne. His father is also a member of the Bishop Dunne Hall of Fame.

St. Vincent de Paul Donation Box Bishop Dunne has a donation box on campus. It is located in the south parking lot by the recycling bins. The box accepts only gently used clothing and shoes items. If you have other items that you wish to donate, please schedule a donation pick up online. Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international organization made up of Catholic lay men and women, whose primary mission is to seek the face of Christ in the poor.
