GOOD TO KNOW Re-Enrollment for Returning Students for the 2020-2021 School Year
The email includes a link to your personalized online enrollment forms. When the link is clicked, all information we have on file will be displayed. Parents will simply need to update any information that has changed, select payment type, and submit payment. Returning students in good academic, financial, and social standing who complete and return their enrollment contract, forms, and deposit by April 3, 2020, are guaranteed a place for the 2020-2021 school year. Timely re-enrollment is essential for prompt financial aid awards to qualified families. The discounted enrollment fee for our returning families has been set at $300 per student. After April 3, the enrollment fee will be $500, with no exceptions. Please contact Brian Muth, Director of Admission and Financial Aid (bmuth@bdcs.org), with any questions.
It is very important that our families apply for aid ASAP as funds are limited and are awarded on a first come, first served basis for applications that are not currently complete. Even if you have submitted your application, your request for aid will not be considered until your application is complete, including the submission and verification of supporting documentation.
While we have passed the February 18 priority deadline, we will continue to consider new requests on a "funds available" and "first come, first served" basis. Please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Patty Salazar-Martel (pmartel@bdcs.org) if you need help with financial aid. Follow this link to the FACTS Application.

Logan Foster places in Diocesan Catholic Schools Week art competition The Art Department is proud to announce that our very own 7th grader, Logan Foster, placed 4th in the Diocesan Catholic Schools Week art competition. The poster contest supports the ideals of Catholic education and the benefits our students receive through faith formation, in the classroom, in community service, and in their extracurricular pursuits. This year's theme for the competition was, "Learn, Lead, Serve, Succeed." Logan's interpretation of this theme was imaginative, creative and a wonderful example of our school's mission! Join us in congratulating this up-and-coming art student!
Russian students enjoy Мaсленица (read on!) While Others Celebrate Mardi Gras… Slavic Club members and Russian students enjoyed Мaсленица (Maslenitsa), known as Butter Week, or the Pancake week (Shrovetide) which is observed during the last week before Lent. While Russian 2 and 3 students baked Russian блины (bliny), thin crepes symbolizing the sun and learned about this oldest surviving Slavic holiday, Russian 1 students filled them with delicious Nutella and various kinds of jam. -more-
