Mr. Root leaving Bishop Dunne Mr. Mario Root, who has been a leader on the Bishop Dunne campus since 1999, has decided to leave for a new opportunity. Mr. Root's last day will be Friday, April 3.
Mr. Root accepted a position as the Texas Regional Recruiter for Temple University, located in Philadelphia. As many of you know, his son is an undergraduate at Temple.
"Isn't it a bit ironic that as I bid farewell, there is no baseball going on? Something just doesn't feel right about that. However, it is time that I move on to my second act," said Root. "I will serve as a regional admission recruiter. That means I'll be seeing you all in the fall at the college fair. I'm hoping I can get a premium table that results in lots of traffic."
"I have valued Mr. Root's wisdom and will miss his steady influence and guidance," said Mrs. Marchiony. "We wish him well in this exciting new chapter of his professional career."
