College Guidance

Bishop Dunne places a great amount of emphasis on preparing students for the next phase of their academic careers. Numerous programs are in place to guide and inform students and parents about the college process. In addition, students are afforded the opportunity to take more demanding courses through pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement offerings and earn college credit through Mountain View College.

While we begin the college admissions planning with students and parents starting freshman year, we believe exposing our middle school students to the college process is crucial to developing a strong road map for the future. Several meetings and events are planned to walk with families throughout the college process. Parents and students are encouraged to schedule an appointment to meet with counselors in order to set long term plans.

For the safety of our Bishop Dunne community, we are providing virtual options for students to have access and exposure to college representatives and college campuses this fall. Parents and students are invited to meet with Mrs. Doan virtually, by appointment.

Visiting College Reps

We love to host college representatives on our campus! Although it will look a little different this year, we still invite you to schedule a virtual session with our students in grades 10-12. In order to see available times and schedule a session, please login to SCOIR.
