The Bishop Dunne Experience
At Bishop Dunne, your child doesn’t just go to school—they walk into a small Catholic community where they are known by name, challenged to think deeply, and guided to grow in faith and leadership.
From morning prayer to the last bell, each moment is designed to help students explore, inquire, lead, and serve in a joyful, college-preparatory environment.
A Joyful, Close-Knit Community
Bishop Dunne Catholic School empowers each student to explore, inquire, lead, and serve through a college preparatory education in a joyful community of faith.
Because we are intentionally small, teachers notice when a student is thriving or struggling and respond with encouragement, extra help, and high expectations.
Families tell us they value our welcoming, family-like atmosphere, strong academics, and a culture where teachers genuinely care about their students.
A Day in the Life
Morning – Explore
Your child begins the day with prayer, announcements, and a warm greeting from teachers and classmates who know them.
In small classes, they explore a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum that connects learning to real life and future goals.
Midday – Inquire
As the day moves into core subjects and advanced courses, students are encouraged to ask questions, use technology, and collaborate on projects that build critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
They are not just memorizing facts; they are learning how to learn—essential preparation for college, career, and life.
Community Time – Lead
At lunch and in common spaces, the small-school feel comes to life. Students take on leadership roles in clubs, student government, campus ministry, and as team captains and ambassadors.
Younger students see older Falcons leading with integrity and service, and they begin to imagine themselves doing the same.
Afternoon & After School – Serve
Theology classes, service projects, and campus ministry experiences help students connect faith with action.
After school, they can participate in athletics, fine arts, clubs, and service opportunities—all within a community that values both excellence and character.
Why This Choice Matters
Without the right environment, students can graduate feeling unprepared for college, disconnected from their faith, and unsure of who they are becoming.
In a small Catholic, college-preparatory school like Bishop Dunne, your child is challenged to grow academically while being formed as a person of faith, responsibility, and service.
The Bishop Dunne Graduate
By the time they graduate, Bishop Dunne students are confident, college-ready, and grounded in their Catholic faith.
They have experienced a community where they are known, loved, and called to lead—so they step into the next chapter of life prepared to succeed and to serve.
